1. Introduction

2. Access All Agents Section

"Start by clicking 'All Agents' in the left menu. This opens the list of every agent in your workspace."

3. Open Support & Refunds Assistant

"Click the agent you want to tune up — here it's the Support & Refunds Assistant. Pick an existing agent, or create a new one if you're starting fresh."

4. Select Optimize Tab

"Along the top of the agent editor, click 'Optimize.' This opens the AI Optimization Engine, which reviews your agent's task history, failure patterns, and escalation rate to generate real, actionable suggestions."

5. Initiate Optimization Analysis

"Click 'Run Analysis' in the top right. The engine goes to work on your agent's history and comes back with recommendations based on how it's actually been performing — not guesswork."

6. View Optimization Suggestions

"Your results appear in the panel below. Any issues or improvement ideas show up right here. If you're seeing 'No suggestions yet,' that just means the analysis hasn't run — or your agent doesn't have enough history built up yet."

7. Enable First Optimization Option

"Now scroll to 'Behavior Distillation.' This is the clever one. It compresses your agent's best past conversations into a compact example set, then routes a slice of traffic to a cheaper model using those examples. Toggle on 'Enable distilled mode,' and switch on 'Weekly auto-refresh' to re-distill every seven days once you've got a hundred positive outcomes. Then pick your target model and set the percentage of traffic to send its way. Start around ten percent, watch your trust score for a week, then ramp up. Note this runs on your own OpenAI key."

8. Save Updated Settings

"Click 'Save settings' to apply your distillation configuration. You'll see a confirmation that your distillation settings were saved. And once your agent has at least twenty positive-outcome conversations, you can click 'Run distillation now' to kick it off."

9. Update Agent Configuration

"Finally, click the 'Update' button in the top right to finalize everything and push your optimized configuration live."
