Quick bit of background. Unlike a lot of platforms that hand you one single API key, Twilio uses a pair of credentials. Your Account SID is like your username, and your Auth Token is like your password. Together they prove a request is really coming from your account. Add your Twilio phone number to that, and you've got everything you need to start building. Let's go collect all three.

1. Introduction
Start by heading to console dot twilio dot com and logging in. You'll land on your Account Dashboard. This is mission control for your whole Twilio account, so take a quick breath and let's find what we came for.
2. Access Develop Section
Look at the top of the left menu. You'll see two tabs, Develop and Monitor. Click "Develop" to make sure you're in the right area. This is where all your building tools and your account credentials live.
3. Advance Within Development Menu
Now scroll down a touch until you spot the "Account Info" panel. If it's collapsed, click it to expand it. This is the panel that reveals all your key details: your Account SID, your Auth Token, and your Twilio phone number, all stacked together.
4. Continue Navigation in Console
First up is your Account SID. It's that long string beginning with the letters A-C. Click the copy icon right next to it, and paste it wherever you're setting up your integration. This one isn't secret, but it's still half of your login, so keep it handy.
5. Navigate Further in Development
Right underneath is your Auth Token, and this one is the real secret, basically your account password. Click the copy icon to grab it, and save it somewhere safe like a password manager. Twilio even reminds you to store it securely, and they mean it. Never paste this into public code or share it with anyone.
6. Complete Development Navigation
Last one. Find the "My Twilio phone number" field and click the copy icon on the right to copy it. This is the number your messages and calls will come from. And if you've got more than one number on your account, that "View all numbers" link lets you see the full list.
And that's everything. You've found your Account Dashboard, opened your Account Info, and copied all three credentials: your Account SID, your Auth Token, and your phone number.
