Configure ElevenLabs API Integration
This key is what lets your platform turn text into lifelike speech using your own ElevenLabs account. One quick heads-up before we start: ElevenLabs shows you the key only once when you create it, so we'll want to copy it the moment it appears. Don't worry — I'll flag that when we get there.

Go to elevenlabs.io
1. Switch To ElevenLabs Website
Head over to elevenlabs.io and sign in to your account. You'll land on your home dashboard. If you don't have an account yet, go ahead and sign up — the free tier is plenty to get started.

2. Open Developers Section
Look at the very bottom of the left sidebar and click "Developers." This is where all the API and integration tools live.

3. Access API Keys Page
Near the top of the page, click the "API Keys" tab. This is where you'll create and manage every key tied to your account.

4. Create New API Key
Click the "Create Key" button. A panel will slide in from the right where we'll set everything up.

5. Name Your API Key
First, give your key a name you'll actually recognize later — something like the name of the platform you're connecting it to.

6. Grant Access Permission
Then scroll down to the permissions. The big one for voice features is "Text to Speech," so make sure that's set to "Access." If you'd rather keep things simple, you can leave the key unrestricted so it has full access — totally up to you.

7. Create Another API Key
Once your name and permissions look right, scroll to the bottom of the panel and click "Create Key." ElevenLabs will generate it instantly.

8. Copy API Key
Here's the important moment. This popup shows your brand-new key, and notice the warning — it won't be displayed again once you close this window. So before you do anything else, click "Copy to Clipboard."

And that's it — your ElevenLabs key is created and copied. Head back to wherever you're connecting it, paste it into the API key field, and save. From there, your agent can speak in any ElevenLabs voice you choose. In the next video, I'll show you how to pick the perfect voice for your agent. See you there.
