Go to app.lmnt.com
1. Switch To LMNT Website
"LMNT is one of the fastest text-to-speech engines out there, and your API key is what tells LMNT that voice requests are coming from you. Once you have it, you can use it in any app or tool that supports LMNT. Let's go grab one." "First, head over to app.lmnt.com and sign in to your account. You'll land on the main 'Text to speech' page — this is your home base inside LMNT."

2. Open LMNT Settings
"Look down at the bottom of the left sidebar and click 'Settings.' That's where all your account configuration lives."

3. Access API Settings
"Inside Settings, you'll see a few tabs along the left — Account, Billing, Usage, and API. Click on 'API.' This is the page where LMNT lets you create and manage every key on your account."

4. Create New API Key
"If this is your first time here, you'll see 'No API keys yet.' That's totally normal — we're about to fix it. Go ahead and hit the green '+ New API key' button."

5. Name The API Key
"A small popup opens with your brand-new API key already generated. The name field at the top is optional, but I'd give it a quick label so you remember what it's for — something like 'My App Key' works great."

6. Copy API Key
"Now here's the important part — see that little warning that says 'This is the only time you'll see this key'? LMNT means it. Click the copy icon on the right to grab the full key, and paste it somewhere safe right now — a password manager is perfect."

7. Complete API Key Creation
"Once you've safely stored your key, click 'Done' to close the popup. That's it — your key is created and locked in."

"And that's a wrap — you've created your LMNT API key, copied it, and saved it somewhere safe. You're ready to start building with some of the best AI voices on the planet. Happy shipping, and I'll catch you in the next one."
