Access And View API Credentials In Acuity Scheduling
Want to connect Acuity Scheduling to your own app, an automation, or an AI agent? You'll need two things first: your User ID and your API Key. The good news is they're already waiting for you inside your account. In the next minute or so, I'll show you exactly where to find them and how to view them safely. Think of these credentials as the login your software uses to talk to Acuity on your behalf. The User ID says who you are, and the API Key is the secret password that proves it. So let's head into your settings and grab both.

Go to secure.acuityscheduling.com
1. Introduction
Start by signing in over at secure.acuityscheduling.com. Once you're in, you'll land on your Home dashboard. On the left side of the screen, you'll see your main navigation menu. That's where everything we need lives.

2. Open Integrations Section
In that left menu, look for the link that says "Integrations" and click it. This is the area where Acuity connects to outside tools, and it's also where your API access lives.

3. Access API Customization Page
Now you'll see a whole grid of integrations. Don't get distracted by all the logos. Scan for the card that just says "API." It's the one that lets you customize your scheduling with Acuity's own API and a bit of CSS support. That's our destination.

4. Select API Option
Click into that API card to open it up. Once it expands, you'll notice a couple of options inside β a link to the developer's site, and the one we actually care about: View Credentials.

5. View API Credentials
Go ahead and click "View Credentials." This opens up the panel that holds your two key pieces of information β your API User ID and your API Key.

6. Reveal User ID And API Key
And there they are. Your User ID is the short number up top, and your API Key is the longer string right below it. Copy both into whatever tool you're connecting Acuity to, and you're all set. Nice thing about Acuity β unlike a lot of platforms, you can come back and view these anytime, so you're never locked out if you lose them.

And that's it. You've found your API credentials in Acuity, viewed them safely, and copied your User ID and API Key for use. You're now ready to connect Acuity to your apps and automations and start scheduling on autopilot. Thanks for watching, and I'll catch you in the next one.
